You don’t have to trade fabulous hair when you work out.  Lather has tips for easy, no fuss gym hair.

           A side braid can help keep everything under control. After your gym session, undo the braid to reveal gorgeous, soft curls.

 

quick_tip_2          Whether your hair is long or short, a classic ponytail never goes out of style. Don’t forget to give the top of your head a little poof for emphasis to avoid that not-so-sleek sweaty look.

 

quick_tip_3          Have bangs that you can’t or don’t want to pull back? Try braiding it across to keep it off your sweaty forehead and face.  Want extra control? Braid your bangs and tie the rest of your mane into a bun. You’ll be able to run, do Pilates, and head straight to happy hour with this hairstyle.

 

quick_tip_4           Girls with curls, this hairstyle is for you! Create a super-natural ‘do by bringing your hair into a ponytail at the top of your head. Then, wrap your curls around using bobby pins to secure the chunky strands.

Get the look without going to the gym.  Make sure the roots are clean and dry (or blast them with dry shampoo). Create a deep side part and sweep the hair across the forehead. Gather it all into a ponytail at the nape of the neck, and divide the hair into two pieces. Back-comb each piece and loosely wrap them under and around the elastic. Pin into place and pull out pieces for a messy, cool-girl effect.
